Carbon Fiber Repairs.
We offer advanced repair solutions using the latest generation composite materials, such as hybrid carbon fiber and fiberglass, combined with cutting-edge resins.
These technologies allow us to carry out repairs on pipes, tanks and other pressure elements, with a process certified by the ABS (American Bureau of Shipping).
Our approach ensures rapid and effective interventions, minimising or completely eliminating the downtime of vital systems in both the marine and industrial sectors.
This avoids expensive traditional repair solutions, while offering significant savings in operating costs resulting from unforeseen events.
Our methodology involves the application of layers of multiaxial carbon fibres and resins, which, once solidified, become an integral part of the repaired structure.
This process eliminates cracks, leaks and other defects, ensuring the rapid and safe restoration of the system.
Carbon Fiber Repairs
Carbon fiber repair requires care, because it is a complex material, resistant but fragile in case of structural damage.

Methodology and application
Damage determination
- Determine the extent of the damage (whether superficial or structural) and the related boundary conditions
Superficial: Scratches or abrasions that do not compromise the internal structure.
Superficial means: Burrs or micro-lesions
Structural means: Through cracks and holes that can lead to fluid leaks
Repair
- An epoxy primer is placed on the surface to be repaired so as to reduce roughness and eliminate serious damage so as to allow the repaired system to be put into service in a very short time
- Then the carbon fiber is applied to the surface to be repaired so as to give solidity to the intervention and the necessary resistance over time based on the temperature conditions and operating pressures of the systems
Finish
- After the carbon fiber resin mixture has completely hardened, paints can be applied to restore the original appearance of the repaired element.
Preparation
- Mechanical cleaning using angle grinders
- Chemical cleaning using cutting-edge solvents
- In cases of extreme damage and critical working conditions, sandblasting is preferable
Advice
- Use personal protective equipment such as gloves and a mask, as carbon fiber dust and resins can be toxic.
- If the damage is structural and compromises safety (for example, on bicycle frames or aerodynamic components), it is advisable to contact a professional.
Conclusions
- Professional repairs ensure that the restored piece maintains its original strength.
